Our wood bowls are sourced from our rainforest reserve only using sustainable methods of collecting fallen rainforest trees after storms, fires, or natural causes.
Spanish Creek Rainforest Reserve: Off the Grid Agroforestry
Our woodshop is the heart of our rainforest reserve. Our mission began as an agroforestry project aiming to farm, without the use of any chemicals, on the edge of a rainforest, with each side benefiting the other. Throughout the years we have planted natives, several fruit trees, gardened and grown over 15 varieties of bamboo. We first specialized in sustainable bamboo furniture. Our craftsmanship has evolved and through working with the rainforest we saw an opportunity to craft something new, Belize Bowls.
